The heady exurberance of San Francisco in the early 70s inspired my latest piece.
Once again I started with needlefelting flowers to enrich detail. I laid out the design elements on the table.
I used the felting tool to secure the pieces in place and felted the piece. This time, however, I tossed the roll of felted material into the dryer for ten minutes. Once done I took it out and threw it again for good measure. Washed it in its vinegar bath. Voila!
